Controversy between Cambodia and Thailand about the $40m Loan
On Friday the 27th of November, 2009, the Cambodian government announced that they had cancelled the loan from Thailand; however, on Sunday the 29th of November, 2009, officials said that Thailand’s multimillion-dollar loan for a project to repair the National Road number 68 is still on the table.
